About the Founder
From the sparkle of diamonds to the stories they hold, jewelry has always been more than just adornment to me — it’s been a lifelong passion.
As a little girl, I spent countless hours watching jewels and diamonds being carefully handled and admired at my father’s office. Those early memories ignited a fascination that stayed with me through the years, only to grow stronger with time. It wasn’t just admiration — I had unknowingly built an innate passion for the art and emotion behind fine jewelry.
After completing my BBA and MBA, I chose to return to what truly lit me up — jewelry. I went on to graduate from the esteemed Gemological Institute of India (IGI), where I deepened my understanding of diamonds, gemstones, and the science behind their brilliance.
Today, I proudly lead Athera Fine Jewelry, a brand born out of love, legacy, and a deep respect for ethical luxury. Athera is in proud association with the House of Sushila Diamonds, an esteemed name in the diamond industry since 1997 — a legacy built and nurtured by my father.
My father has been my strength, my pillar, my mentor, and the guiding force behind everything I do. Athera is as much a part of me as it is a continuation of the values he instilled in me — integrity, excellence, and timeless craftsmanship.
With Athera, I aspire to make fine jewelry that speaks to the modern woman — conscious, confident, and unapologetically elegant.
